Melbourne Fringe is celebrating forty years.
Tell your story.
In partnership with State Library Victoria, Melbourne Fringe is seeking stories from the millions of artists, audiences, volunteers, staff and supporters who have shaped the last 40 years of Fringe. Remember the days of Fringe Inventions, and Not the Archibald Prize? Or when 4,500 of us got naked in the freezing cold for Spencer Tunick’s iconic photograph in 2001? Maybe you marched in the first Brunswick Street Parade in 1984, attended Fringe Fashion in 1996, or broadcast a show from your bedroom amidst a global pandemic in 2020. Whatever your story, big or small, profound or mundane, we want to hear it.
